ElijahStreams Features: Catherine

In the villages of Uganda, many families, including single mothers like Catherine, face a daily struggle for basic survival, often traveling hours for dirty water that leads to serious illnesses like typhoid and diarrhea. To provide for her three children, Catherine worked on farms and even turned to selling her body, while her sons collected bottles for meager pay. This cycle of poverty and poor health began to change when donations funded a well in her village, providing free, clean water just minutes away. The physical change brought immediate relief, but the well dedication also introduced the gospel, leading Catherine to trust God after witnessing the spiritual transformation and physical healing of her friends. Today, through faithful monthly giving to Elijah Streams, Catherine’s children are sponsored to attend school, opening up a future that was once blocked by the daily fight for survival.
