ElijahStreams Featured Stories: Ekosa Church and Well

God placed a desire to build a church on the hearts of man named Zakaira and his wife, who live in Ekosa, Uganda. They faced discouragement from townspeople who thought building a church was too big of a task for someone from their village. Zakaira and his wife pressed in with prayer, and after a year they started to see the Lord work.

The water available in this community was poor, and the water that did exist made people sick. Zakaira and his wife began praying specifically for a clean water source for their community. Six months later, they were contacted by a pastor who informed them that ElijahStreams wanted to provide water for their area. The new supply of clean water provided physical health benefits, and also changed how the community perceived Zakaria and his wife, leading to increased respect and openness toward their message. Consequently, many people in the village began to accept Jesus Christ, fostering both spiritual and physical healing.
